Lets begin introduce myself a little bit to those people who do not know me (yet). My name is Erik Tiekstra, born and raised in Leeuwarden, a mediumsized city in the north of the Netherlands. I am curently living in Stockholm, Sweden. I am a crossmedia and multimedia specialist and love to work with video in combination with internet. Hi there :) It has been a few days, and I can tell you.... You missed a lot! I will not be able to write a lot about it, I just have too many better things to do at the moment. I can just say that the Monday Bar Cruise was GRRRRRREEAAAAATTTT. Just a little summery of the past days Work at Upsales, 12h party, 1h sleep, 11h party, then a couple of hours more party at Pierre, 3-4 hours sleep, minigolf, party & melodifestival at Teemu, finally sleep a bit longer, listen to Feyenoord - PSV on the Dutch radio, which was great (1-0). Then in the evening a movie and now I am here again..... :) If you want to read more about the cruise, click HERE. Yeap, you hear it correctly... To get a job does not go as planned really. I have been sending some mails to some interesting jobpossibilities but thusfar no success. At this moment I finally have my lost data back. So I can actually start fixing my portfolio. I have not done that in quite some months/years now. And I think when I have fixed that, it will be easier to get a job in my specialism. Alright, enough about that... I have been in Munktell Arenan last weekend to play a tournament on the felt courses. It went quite well actually. I can not remember a tournament on felt where I had the feeling it was getting better. Time for change now I guess? :) It is feeling more and more comfortable to play with my new "style" actually. Although it was only a practice for me, I came in 2nd in the A-class. I am pretty satisfied about that :) I am sorry for Karro and Teemu they did not make the final of this tournament. But that does not have to be the end of the world. Now they are able to go to our housewarming at 21 march! Already 12 people confirmed that they will be going :) Najssss... I am looking forward to Thursday. Then we will have the cruise with Armin van Buuren as head act. It is really going to be fun! I will split a hut with Pierre, Teemu and Karro. I just do not think we will see much of that hut :) haha... Anyway, this is about it what I had to say. I will go to the "tvättstugan" nu and finish my wash. Been doing that since 7 am.... What a morning.

Last saturday it was time to go to the yearly returning Kick-off and "årsmöte" of Tantogårdens BGK. Around 1 PM Karro and Jimmy came to our place to get the beer and wine I bought in NL. It was impossible to take that (3 trays with beer and 2x 3l wine) with me into the metro. Around 3 PM we went to the center and arrived there 40 minutes later. First we had a meeting, we talked about all the stuff regarding the club, the new players and the WC 2011. Which will be played at Tantogårdens courses. The courses (beton and eternite) will be ready before the start of this season.... After that, we had some cold buffet and a couple of drinks. After the food we started with some games. It was very fun to do so and to get to know the other players a little better. Unfortunately not all the new players were there. After this we set down and drunk a few beers/wines while listening to the music. Around closing time we decided to go to the center to have a few more beers. It was very fun, although we (Janne, Anders, Malin, Jimmy and I) soon lost the others.... Around 4 we arrived back home. Yesterday was a strange day... I got up with a big headache (no, it was no hangover...). I just rested on my bed listening to Radio Rijnmond where they talked about the match between Feyenoord and Vitesse (2-2). After that we had some food and watched some tv, where I fell a sleep. Got back up around 10 PM and watched some tv again :) As you can see, it was a very productive day....
