Lets begin introduce myself a little bit to those people who do not know me (yet). My name is Erik Tiekstra, born and raised in Leeuwarden, a mediumsized city in the north of the Netherlands. I am curently living in Stockholm, Sweden. I am a crossmedia and multimedia specialist and love to work with video in combination with internet. I really enjoyed my sallad this evening. I did not want to make a difficult diner this evening for only myself (Gutte is eating at his uncles place), so I decided to get some sallad, pasta, cucumber, mushrooms, peperoni, and some meat and mix it all together. DAMNZ, that really tasted gooooooood! Soon I will leave my apartment and go for a nice long walk, good for my condition and of course I can check out the neighbourhood I live in.

Yesterday I had my job interview at Lens Logistics. I think it went pretty well... They told me some stuff about the company and what the customer service does. Pretty interesting I must say. I really hope to get this job. They will let me know before tomorrow, so.... crossed fingers :) This evening I will go to the cinama together with Karro, Teemu and Gutte. We will see Slumdog Millionaire. I really have no idea what to expect of that movie. They say it is a nice movie, we will see that this eve :) This weekend it is time for a little party. I will go to Nyköping together with Karro. There we will first have a party at Jimmy his place whereafter we will go to some pub. Army style, Karro said :) We will see, haha... Next weeks will be hard at our apartment. They start rebuilding stuff. Until now they rang the door at 7:30 in the morning.... ojojoj pretty early. But that gives me the chance to "practise" a little bit until I have a job :)

TODAY IT IS MY BIRTHDAY!!! So, that is out of the world and lets start with the usual stuff. It has been quite a relaxing week this week, nice to get a little bit of rest after a tough week. I have been updating my portfolio, sending some letters of interest to some interesting jobs and cleaning the place for tomorrow...... Because tomorrow we will PARTY PARTY! :) I actually thought I would already be able to use my phone subscription, but it is still not possible for me to call. So I still have to use my pre-paid card which is empty. At the store, yesterday, I received a call on that number... "Number unknown" it said. Normally I do not answer those calls, but as I am looking for a job I thought it might be someone calling to invite me for an interview..... And..... INDEED it was. On Tuesday I will get my stuff, put on my clothes, wait a couple of hours..... get on the subway, switch to bus, walk for 1.5KM and have a jobinterview at Lens Logistics. There is a position available in their customer service who speaks fluently Dutch. Well.... thats me! :) I really hope to get the job, I can use the money and I am tired of sitting home every day. Well... This is about it I think. This eve I will go to the Central Station to pick up Mia. She will actually be the only one visiting at my "official" birthday today. The rest will come tomorrow. Except my parents and other family/friends in the Netherlands...... MISS U GUYS!
